Finally on MP3
September 1st, 2006 by WheelzEver since I got my first tape recorder when I was 7 years old, I have been into music in a big way. I just buy CD’s, and before that tapes and LP’s, because there was perhaps one song on it I liked. This has let to me having a huge collection of albums. Last year I was bought an iPod Mini by my girlfriend and decided that it was time to put some of my music onto my PC. It didn’t take me very long to fill up 4gb of iPod and I was happy.
But ever since, its been nagging away in the back of my mind that I really should copy all my cd’s to AAC format. And tonight I have finally finished all my albums; 569 to be exact. This doesn’t include my “Now Thats What I Call Music” collection, my compilations, my soundtrack albums and all my singles which may not be on albums. Up to now what this equates to is 7893 unique tracks.
I need to take a break before starting on the other hundred or so cd’s that still need doing, then I need to start copying my vinyl to the PC.
